#1362 Error and slqerrd[2]

#1362 4GL runtime stack violation Error. Running 4GL libraries from New Era 3.10/NT 4. On much searching (commenting stuff out and "puts" stmts) I have narrowed my -1362 Error down to one line in my code, which uses slqerrd[2] to get the serial value of an inserted row, which is subsequently committed. What I don't understand is that the code works fine, slqerrd returns the correct serial id and all is fine. It only falls over after all the later transactions have completed (and they are all successful) and control is returned to the user. Also I've used slqerrd throughout and it works okay. I'm stumped.
