Bug with OpenLink ?

Hi, we have encountered a serious problem with OpenLink for Informix. We use OpenLink Lite 32-Bit ODBC driver for Informix 7 Version 1.50 Build 1.67.0618 in a Windows NT 4.0 environment. Informix Version is 7.22.TC1. And here's the problem: We work in a german Informix environment. This means on the server we have set DB_LOCALE = de_de.west-europe and CLIENT_LOCALE = de_de.west-europe. On the client we also set these values by using Informix Connect 7.20.TE1. Client can be NT or Windows 95, doesn't matter. If we run MS-Access7 on the client and try to link tables of the Informix database, we get an "error in assignment" for some tables, but not for all. We have not detected any unique characteristics for the tables that can not be linked. The solution we have found is to set DBMONEY = . in Informix Connect. We are not happy with this solution, because we could link some tables with DECIMAL fields without setting DBMONEY, but not all. My guess is that the OpenLink driver does not handle GLS properly. The reason that we have no problems with umlauten could be that we have configured the server database with a german environment. I don't know ! Any suggestions and opinions are very much appreciated ! (By the way: The Intersolv ODBC driver had no problems at all !)
