We did a similar check on our machines (SE 2.10.03K; I4GL 1.10.03K1) a few
weeks back, which correctly accepted and displayed 29/2/2000. This is with
DBDATE='DMY4'.
John, you asked about a DBDATE of 'Y4MD-'. Would a different DBDATE format
have a different effect on the test?
Steve Fabac's post of 8/7/97 said that he had a problem when he changed the
m/c date to 29/2/2000 and tried to insert ... values (TODAY). We were
intending to do this test as well, but the decision came through to upgrade
anyway, so we decided that it was a moot point for us. BTW , has anyone done
this test on a later version of Informix?
