I notice that our informix server has the sqlhosts set to ONSOCTCP and that the windows connect is set to OLSOCTCP shouldn't these be the same? What is the difference between the two?
Hi Chris, you can ignore that, it means the same and have no negativ effects. The first two letters "on" or "ol" means "Online Dynamic Server" instead of "se" for the "Standard Engine" Regards Erik Stahlhut "chris" <stcdm@earthlink.net> schrieb im Newsbeitrag news:7SjK5.871$G4.50835@newsread2.prod.itd.earthlink.net... > I notice that our informix server has the sqlhosts set to ONSOCTCP and that > the windows connect is set to OLSOCTCP shouldn't these be the same? > > What is the difference between the two? > >
