[SOLUTION] Binary compatibility of Informix 5.0 on sam

Hello ! I had problems with using an Informix 5.0 DB (SE) on the same architecture after copying (with tar) from a different system. No user, except user "informix" could access the DB. With the help from Jonathan Leffler (Informix) and two other guys I solved the problem. Stupid me, I didn't take a better look at the permissions of sqlexec and the Database files. The database files must have read AND write permission for the group "informix". After doing chmod 660 *.dat *.idx in the database directory everything works as expected. I appreciate the fast response I got to my question, although my question was incomplete, at best. Thank you guys for helping me solve a problem in a very short time. Because of the limited time I have to evaluate the performance of several systems a fast response was really necessary. Thanks, again !
