cahnging SPL Procedure during runtime
Posted in 2008
I have a question regarding SPL procedures. IDS is 10 on Linux. I have one bigger SPL procedure calling several smaller SPL functions inside a foreach construct. SPL1 foreach execute SPL2 execute SPL3.... end foreach The job all those SPL procedures are created for is running around 20 to 24 hours. I now did some code changes for optimization in one of the smaller SPL2/SPL3 procedures beeing called by the bigger SPL1 function. My question now: Is the running SPL1 procedure able to recognize the changes in one of the called SPL2/3 procedures, or is it using the same release it had with the first call of the SPL2/3 procedure? I know that the SPL1 procedure will not recognize any code change within SPL1 while running. thanks for your opinions, Joerg Volz IT Handel und Beratung Jörg Volz Bernhard-Früh-Str. 7 77855 Achern GERMANY Tel: 07841-681651 Fax: 07841-681654 Mobil: 0170-2989757 Ust-ID: DE201383541 http://www.it-volz.de
