1.. Is there any function or command available, so as to check whether =
a SQL statement is syntactically correct without actually executing it.
2.. If such a function exists, can it be used to check column related =
issues as well?=20
For e.g.. without executing the SQL below I want to check its syntax, =
and also return an error if column1 is defined as INT, or column2 is of =
length 40.
select column1 from table where column1 =3D 'ABC' and column2[40,41] =3D =0
