Working with an external table and a pipe ... Getting a -26154 and -6
error. If I do ..
unload to asset
select * from psfsdw:asset;
Works as expected ...
When I do a:insert into asset_ext
select * from psfsdw:asset;
I get the error ... external table is defined to use the pipe .. pipe
works ok with the direct unload .. If I change the pipe to a file in the
external table, then the second works ok ... anyone got an idea as to
what might be happening?
Thanks ...

Dumb question: Do you have some program writing data to the pipe for the
SELECT to read?
The -26154 error indicates a filesystem IO error, the ISAM error -6 is
echoing the errno from the OS. Errno 6 is "No such device".
