Hi everybody, Does anyone how to connect Django Framework on Linux to an Informix 12.10.UC7WE server on Linux? My client reports the folowing error: Exception: [IBM][CLI Driver] SQL30081N A communication error has been detected. Communication protocol being used: "TCP/IP". Communication API being used: "SOCKETS". Location where the error was detected: "213.27.156.181". Communication function detecting the error: "recv". Protocol specific error code(s): "*", "*", "0". SQLSTATE=08001 SQLCODE=-30081 Connection parameters: 'database=sysmaster;server=knc1;hostname=213.27.156.181;port=1526;;protocol=tcpi p;uid=pgi;pwd=****'

Hi stupid suggestion: is this 'protocol=tcpip' or 'protocol=onsoctcp' ? informix does not recognize 'tcpip' as a protocol and the error message suggests this... Hope it helps Eric
