mirroring in OnLine 5.03

We have MIRROR set to 1, and a valid MIRRORPATH, as far as I can see. However, when we try to initialize (tbinit), we get the following error: Mismatch in configuration file : MIRRORPATH=/dev/mirror_root Root chunk was not mirrored.
