RE: oninit Failure

What Informix version are you running? I.E. What is the output of "oninit -V"? What environment variable settings did you export prior to issuing the oninit command? Please post the output of "oninit -V" and "env" to the News Group. Your INFORMIXDIR environment variable may not be set properly.
