Hi !
I've got a problem with dropping a table of my database. It seems that I
can't drop it because another user is logging it.
But: there are only two users in the sysusers table, public und my own.
I tried to drop it as user public too, but this was not successfull. Any
ideas how to unlock this table ?
Thanks

I guess you are running OnLine ?? Version ?? Platform ?? OS Level ??
Have you
1) ensured that no one else is using it ? - check the output from onstat -k
and onstat -g ses <sesid> to enusre that no-one has a shared or exclusive
lock on the table. If someone/something is locking the table, use onmode -z
or onmode -Z to free it up
2) Have you tried doing it as Informix user or root ??
ofcourse, the above will be useless if you are using SE but you may be able
to get a list of users using the file if you use 'fuser <filename>'
substituting the <filename> with what Informix recognises as the table
usually held in the *.dbs directory ).
Hope this helps
