Bulk Insert into remote Informix Server

Is there a utility or command that will insert information into an Informix database that works similarly to the bcp program available for SQL Server? I can't seem to communicate with the Informix server if I try this using bcp, as i'm not sure if this is even possible, and have heard its MS SQL Server only. Thanks for any help. Paul Cook
