You don't say what IDS version or AIX version you're currently on...it would help to include that in future posts. Two reasons to go to IDS.2K even if you don't need the extras: * There are bugs fixed in 9.2 that probably exist in 7.31. * Shared memory management was overhauled and you will likely get a performance boost right out of the box. If you're moving from 7.30 and considering 7.31, keep in mind that you may have optimizer issues that force you to drop distributions.
