Anybody out there who was sucessful in retrieving CLOBS from through the Web Datablade ? I am getting back a clob handle which I don't know how to convert to raw ASCII text. The query is very simple: <?MISQL>select clobcolumn from clobtable where clobid = 1<?/MISQL> Any sugestions ? Its a little strange that your getting the handle rather than the text if the column datatype is CLOB. But, I would try changing the query, casting the column to html. That should definitely do it. EXAMPLE: <?MISQL SQL="select clobcolumn::html from clobtable where clobid = 1;">$1<?/MISQL> Eric Weaver, InteliHealth Antonio Salerno <asalerno@my-dejanews.com> wrote in message news:7g4e8u$mpm$1@nnrp1.dejanews.com... > In article <7g2ckh$t45$1@nnrp1.dejanews.com>, > cduma@my-dejanews.com wrote: > > Anybody out there who was sucessful in retrieving CLOBS from through the Web > > Datablade ? > > > > I am getting back a clob handle which I don't know how to convert to raw ASCII > > text. > > > > The query is very simple: > > <?MISQL>select clobcolumn from clobtable where clobid = 1<?/MISQL> > > > > Any sugestions ? > > Something like this? > > <A HREF="$WEB_HOME?LO=$clobcolumn&type=$clob_mime_type"> > > Tony > -- > The opinions expressed here are mine and only mine. > asalerno@my-dejanews.com > ICQ: http://wwp.mirabilis.com/1406681 > > -----------== Posted via Deja News, The Discussion Network ==---------- > http://www.dejanews.com/ Search, Read, Discuss, or Start Your Own
