Help! Gupta SQLWin app file corrupted(ver 4.01)

I am a programmer from Singapore, trying to resolve a SQLWin app program error. Please forgive me if I have addressed to the wrong newsgroup . I would appreciate if anybody can help me. I had commented some frame objects in the program and accidentally saved it. (I knew that SQLWin app file with frame objects commented will be corrupted once it is saved) When I tried to open the app file again, SQLWin display a message : " an attempt to .... has caused SQLWindows to terminate. Please save your file.." and exit the application file. I could not even open up the app file. I was advised to use a text editor to delete the erroneous portion and saved the file as a .apt text file. Then use SQWindows to convert the file back to app file. But unfortunately, the steps didn't work for my app file. Please advise me if anyone have a way, cos' I am really out of my wits. Thanks in advance. Jean bcsis@technet.sg
