Is this common key in both ascii files? It will make life for you a lot easier
if it is. If not, you'll have to load the second file into your database and
manually go in and insert the key data so that the tables will join. If the
key data is in both ascii files, then all you have to do is load the second
file and start selecting data with:
SELECT * FROM table1, table2 WHERE table1.key_column = table2.key_column
