I tried to upgrade to 7.24 a few weeks ago and was told that 7.24 was on quality hold. Instead of 7.24 I was shipped 7.23.UC7. I do have 7.24.UC3 install on a development system. We have had a problem, detailed below, occur twice. Informix tech. support said others had called in the same problem but were unable to duplicate the problem. Unfortunately, the shared memeory dump was unable to write all its contents to /tmp as there was not enough space to hold it. So, Informix could not pursue evaluation of the problem. We are now in the process of installing 7.23.UC7 and had to destroy (per Informix) our 7.24 CD's. Hope you have better luck.
