We are running informix 7.24, on a mirrored and replicated database. We use additional software to take care of the table replication. I would like to set up two test boxes, one primary and the other a replicator(using the stores7 demo database). Does informix have the built in ability to replicate to another database, or what is normally done. Thanks in advance, mikeD Sent via Deja.com http://www.deja.com/ Before you buy.
Enterprise Replication offers the ability to replicate at a smaller granularity than at an instance level, but I would not recommend using ER on any version less than 7.31UC4. However, I do not understand your question fully. If you are currently using additional software to do table level replication, why do you not want to use it for this new project? eeb4u@my-deja.com wrote: > We are running informix 7.24, on a mirrored and replicated database. > We use additional software to take care of the table replication.
