Translating with DrWatson… this can take a few seconds the first time.
This is a genuine, complex translation. DrWatson protects commands, error codes, and log output while naturally translating the surrounding text. It’s translated once and saved.

You need to have an entry in the /etc/services
e.g. sqlexec <free service no. e.g. 1525>/tcp.
You need to check the file $INFORMIXDIR/etc/sqlhosts
concerning the relatet entry.
<entry from services in our case 'sqlexec'>
<network type depends on the type of your database perhaps 'sesoctcp'>
<hostname (has to be also in /etc/hosts) and in the client host file>
<programm: here 'sqlexec'>
example:
sqlexec sesoctcp host1 sqlexec
Check also the entry in the client services file.
