Hi, Couple of questions: Does this fault that you are referring to only affect single processor boxes, and not multi-processor systems (D, K, T, etc). What if these boxes only contain one CPU ?. I guess what I'm asking is what is the nature of the fault - do you have the Informix/HP Fault numbers. I'm interested as we are about to migrate from HP9.04/Online 5.04 to HP10.20/Online 7.22 UC3. william@carsinfo.com (William Harris) wrote: >In article <5nh9g0$gup@cssun.mathcs.emory.edu>, JULIEJ@Inf.COM says... >> Could somebody enlighten me on the issues involved in >> migrating from Informix Server 5.1 to 7.2? >Assuming you're talking about Informix Online. >If you're running on a single-processor HPUX machine, there is a serious bug >(either in HPUX or Informix, much finger-pointing between the two over the >past year - and yes, it has been over a year since we encountered the >problem) with respect to process aging.
