I don't know what problem you were having -- it might be due to a bug in ESQL/C, or there may be an incompatibility between ESQL/C and OnLine versions that I don't know about. As to why Miami Support told you the problem was ESQL/C, and didn't mention the I-SQL, maybe: - they didn't realize you were planning to link ESQL/C and ISQL together, or - the problem really is in ESQL/C (just because Jonathan & I say that I-SQL 6.03 isn't supported with ESQL/C 7.11 doesn't mean that's your problem), or - they know of some incompatibility between 7.11 ESQL/C and 7.12 OnLine (see parenthetical comment above), or - they didn't realize mixing 6.03 I-SQL and 7.11 ESQL/C would be a problem; they make mistakes too.
