Function point analysis with I-4gl ?

Hi Any idea about average function point productivity with INFORMIX-4GL per month per programmer ? Any case history about this ? Thanks

If you are cloning existing template functions it takes 2-4 hours to write a 4GL form maintenance module and about the same for most reports. Since you want most forms to function alike and look alike and most reports follow one of a few standard formats this is a reasonable assumption. On the otherhand it can take weeks to develop the templates and the support functions to make them happen. These are the values I used to use. Art S. Kagel
