Hi there can anyone help, trying to run sql statements within forms, eg call runsql ("update customer set balance = balance + d1 where custno = a1"), or call runsql("select balance from customer into d1 where custno = a1") I had a 'C' function that worked under SCOV, but fails under open server. Thanx

What was the old version of ISQL? What is the new version of ISQL? If the C code contains direct calls to the ESQL/C functions, then nothing surprises me. You'd have to post more information -- if the old code was written correctly, it should work with the new ISQL, for most upgrade patters from 4.x to 7.x. -- Jonathan Leffler (jleffler@informix.com, jleffler@earthlink.net) Guardian of DBD::Informix v0.62 -- see http://www.perl.com/CPAN #include <disclaimer.h>
