There is a way to do it. Try this SQL OUTPUT TO filename WITHOUT HEADINGS SELECT "EmpNo Name Sal", emp_no_col || " " || name_col || " " || sal_col From tab The two pipes above will concatanate the trailing chars and will do the trick!
