'Not enough memory' 'Physical restore failed ...
Posted in 2010
Hi,
I'm facing the following problem. I have an AIX 5.3 box running an informix
instance named pcoipcoi (see an excerpt of the onconfig below for memeory
configuration ) :
SERVERNUM 3
SHMBASE 0x700000000000000
SHMVIRTSIZE 1048576
BUFFERS 183500
PHYSBUFF 64
LOGBUFF 64
LOGSIZE 50000
I ontape this instance and I want to load a second database with the ontape
file. Following are the memomy initialization parameters for the second
dabatabase (name pcoipbfi)
SERVERNUM 4
SHMBASE 0x700000000000000
SHMVIRTSIZE 1048576
BUFFERS 183500
PHYSBUFF 64
LOGBUFF 64
LOGSIZE 50000
The total memory size in my box is 12Gb.
I ran 'ontape -r -rename -f convert.txt'
(where convert.txt is the chunk name's conversion file from pcoipcoi chunks to
pcoipbfi chunks names). I've the following :
Please mount tape 1 on /bases/informix/pcoipcoi/admin/ontape/lien/TAPEDEV_LIEN
