The default is 32k, but this can be changed. Ah, a good time to advertise my new FAQ (actually my old FAQ, which has only just found a new home). Yes, I know there already is an Informix FAQ, but it's a bit too selective about which Q's it considers FA (IMHO). Mine is at http://www.geocities.com/SiliconValley/Bridge/4578/faq.html and it contains information on changing this parameter. (I don't actually remember the answer, so I have to redirect you.) If the owners of the official FAQ (David?) feel like incorporating my Q's into theirs, I'd be happy to get rid of mine.
