We're moving to strictly web browsers on the desktop (Navigator today, Internet Explorer 3.0 with 3.0 ships with Frames in August) to "isqlperl" (addon to Perl 4) CGI scripts behind a web server. Plan to use "Attached" Database within Access to connect to a different Access database that I will be exporting data from and uploading into the Informix database elsewhere on the network. Will post when we get to the point of using the Access database. The biggest problem is we're so productive using free IE browsers on desktops, we're not sure it makes sense to remain users of ODBC. Long live distributed applications! Larry
