RDBMS Server Feature Matrix (FAQ)

In part due to a recent posting, I have been receiving a large volume of requests for the RDBMS Server evaluation matrix I developed and last posted about 6 months ago. I have also been receiving numerous requests for an updated version of the matrix, which is starting to get pretty dated. For those of you who have not seen it, it compares the four major RDBMS products on about 120 feature categories, and tries to explain in plain english what each of these features means. As to emailing copies of the matrix, I am unable to fulfill these requests due to a rather catastrophic hard disk failure on my mac. Like an idiot, I didn't have a backup and didn't make a copy from my old unix account before it was purged. If someone who has a copy cares to repost it, or to email it to me so I can repost, it would be most appreciated. As to creating an updated version of the document for the latest releases of all the products, I have switched industries and no longer have access to the proper level of information to put together a knowledgable update. If someone would like to take over this document and produce an updated version, please drop me an email and I will sign over the copyright to you. I would appreciate if only industry consultants or people with a similar level of background contact me on this - I'll probably recognize you from the net anyway. Dan Bikle and Tom Cox, please drop me an email. I apologize again for not being so responsive to all of you that have set me email requests, but I've been really busy finishing my MBA. Next week I start at Arbor software, so if any of you are in the market for a multidimensional database, or need any information on this category of products, please drop me a line.
