Days? Jeeze, what are you using to move the data across? Floppy disks? :-) I
just did a 5GB dbexport/dbimport to tape migration in 3 hours, end to end.
If I'm given the choice, I *always* use dbexport/dbimport, followed by a
tasteful UPDATE STATISTICS. I'm sure onunload/onload will be able to put
things back in the right places, provided you have defined them correctly.
Or you could use ontape or onbar. But I'd go with dbexport/dbimport.
