Why the same dbservername? Why not a dbserveralias?

The following should work:
In sqlhosts
online_tcp1 onsoctcp hostname1 service1
online_tcp2 onsoctcp hostname2 service2
In onconfig.xx
DBSERVERNAME online_tcp1
DBSERVERALIASES online_tcp2
In /etc/hosts
192.168.2.1 hostname1 # NIC 1
100.1.5.2 hostname2 # NIC 2
In /etc/services
service1 1525/tcp
service2 1526/tcp
