Hello,
When we put a system live about 18 months ago, a full consistency check
(oncheck -crceID) took apprx 12 hours.
This has increased slowly to 24 hours now.
The database is apprx 20GB in terms of allocated dbspace, and the
hardware is HP 9000 K420 2 CPU's, 1GB RAM. The disks all reside on fast
EMC Symmetrix storage.
Does anyone know what would be causing the increase in time taken for
the consistency check? There is no-one using the system while the check
is going on.
Regards,
Scott
