Translating with DrWatson… this can take a few seconds the first time.
This is a genuine, complex translation. DrWatson protects commands, error codes, and log output while naturally translating the surrounding text. It’s translated once and saved.

Hi guys,
i have to execute a .sql file from an Unix-Informix-Client
(only Connect is installed).
I try it with a remote shell to the server but i get an
Error -23101 (Unable to load locale categories).
The Variable CLIENT_LOCALE and DB_LOCALE are the same like
on the server.
Is it possible to do that?
thx Roman

That makes it rather difficult.

It most probably means that INFORMIXDIR isn't set correctly.
Or the locale is set wrong.

Non-trivial. I'd build a copy of sqlcmd on a machine with CSDK installed,
and then copy it to the machine with I-Connect installed.
SQLCMD is in the IIUG archives.
