The question which comes to mind is "Why?" My assumption is that you then have a common interface across all platforms, hence a reduced development cost. Which is why I kinda said no. If you want a GUI which meets this criteria, look at a Web interface. Then the GUI meets that criteria (common accross all platforms) but fails to work on TTYs. It also reduces the options you have in designing the GUI. Informix 4GL is still a viable tool in handling text informaion, especially in writing reports.
