Compiling problems with ISQL

Hi, I have a problem with an IDS 7.31 on a SUN Solaris 7 platform. I have to compile simple C program that contains simple getlogin() function called by a very very simple form (very similar to the examples in the ISQL Reference Guide ...!!). I compile my C program with cperf and everything seems to be ok, I can also run the form but when I press "Q" to make a query and then press "ESC" to run the query, the system dumps a core and halt the session. This happens everytime I press "ESCAPE" within a query or a update operation in the form. Is there anybody that can help me, please ?
