Add more logical logs in IDS 9.4

Hi All,
I'll be performing adding logical logs into our existing DB. My question are
the following:
1. Do the DB needs to be in quiescent state? i believe, there's no need at all.
Once i have added the new dbspaces to be used by the logical logs, i will drop
the existing ones and recreate a new set of logical logs out of those deleted
logical logs. (resizing).
I will perform a onmode -c and onmode -l for the switch log and force
checkpoint.
let me know your thoughts.
Thank you,
level 0 backup...

Mostly correct. You can indeed add logs while the server is in "online"
mode and being actively accessed. However, you must have at least three
logical logs minimum, so you will have to drop only most of the existing
logs first, then create the new ones, use onmode -l to switch to one of the
new logs, onmode -c to move the checkpoint to the new log, then you can
drop the last few of the old logs.

That's correct. level 0 backup after changing anything. But does the DB needs to be in quiescent mode?
No, as Art mentioned, it can be online.
