On a related note: does anyone know how to redirect stderr? I have an application that RUNs a shell program that can also be run from the unix command line. I redirect stdout to .log files. Once in a while, when attempting to create a directory that already exists I get an error msg from the unix os, and it screws up my screen for a second or two. I'd sure like to fix that!
