If the return code of 3 (also echoed in the log below) is the system
error number (errno), then 3 = ESRCH = No such process.
That, in turn, implies that there is a configuration problem of some
sort (or maybe a resource exhaustion problem) and some process or
other could not be created.
Which process - that I don't know.
Hope this helps (I have my doubts).

Hi,
the error that you see in the ON-Bar activity log file
(and in the ON-Bar debug log file) is not really
specific to ON-Bar. The function producing the
error is one of the XBSA library, i.e. provided by
the storage manager. Therefore you may be able to
get more information on this problem by looking
on the storage manager side (e.g. logs written
by the storage manager).
ISM usually writes its own log files in the directory
$INFORMIXDIR/ism/logs ...
Regards,
Martin

Yes!
I had already read the documentation of XBSA from XOpen, but error 0x=
03
(system error) didn't tell me any cue.
After your sugestion, I found in $INFORMIXDIR/ism/applogs/xbsa.messag=
es
and the message "There is no pool named `ISMDataDisk'" so I realized =
I
misnamed the pool in onconfig=20
ISM_DATA_POOL ISMDiskData
instead of ISMDataDisk
After rename it, onbar is working.
Thanks a lot.
