Hi,

Recently I installed IDS .3 on Sun Solaris 2.6
The server is running fine.......
When I use the dbaccess to view the tables in sysmaster and
sysutil database I ma not able to find the tables like
1. sysusers etc ......
2. MIBS tables ..
Please tell me where to find them or how to Install the SYSTEM CATALOG
Thanks in Advance

They are there. Dbaccess, like dbschema, will not show you system
catalog tables, ie tables with tabid <100, in the tables list. However,
unlike dbschema you can view these tables' schema by explicitely naming
them at the tablename prompt instead of selecting using the highlight.
You can also get my utility myschema.ec which will printout schemas for
system catalog and sysmaster tables if asked specifically for them also.
Myschema.ec is contained in my submission to the IIUG Software
Repository in the package named: utils2_ak which is in the Database
Administration section.
