DBSPACETEMP on 11.5

I have recently upgraded to IDS 11.5 FC2 on HP-UX from IDS 9.4. I seem to be experiencing difficulties with my Temp dbspaces. I have five 128Meg temp dbspaces created. In 9.4 a single program could use all 5 spaces when building a temp table. What I am seeing in 11.5 is that only one of the spaces is being used by a single program and hence I am running out of space. Has something changed in 11.5 to cause this? I believe the prior recommendation was that it was better to have 5 individual 100Meg temp dbspaces rather than 1 500Meg dbspace. Thanks for any guidance....Mick
I ran into a same issue with this version on Aix ... Make sure that your
onconfig parameter DBSPACETEMP has the spaces listed, separated by a ":".
Tech support informed me that there seemed to be an issue with using
commas in the file now...even though the documentation states that you can
use a "," or ":".
DBSPACETEMP=tmp1dbs:tmp2dbs:tmp3dbs:tmp4dbs:tmp5dbs
This fixed it for me ... hope it does for you too.
