Your original message (-25553 error when starting sqlexecd from
startup script) leaves only a few possible causes of the problem.
Either INFORMIXDIR is not set and exported in your script, sqlhosts
does not exist in $INFORMIXDIR/etc, or permissions on the file are
incorrect for the user you are running the script as. You have stated
in other messages that some of these are set correctly. I can only
suggest that you doublecheck them all, as one of them has to be the
source of the problem.
