Problem of Performance

Hi all: I at the moment have problems with my database server (SBD) INFORMIX. Of a little while to another one the parametros of the exit: onstat - p has changed radically. This SBD I have it in production reason why modifying parametros online necessarily pushes to me to reinitiate the instance which I CANNOT DO IT at the moment. It wanted that they help me with some recommendation that I can do online and improve the performance without sifnigique to reinitiate the instance. Hi, which parameters (values) have changed radically? At OS level: Do you have higher CPU loads than before or higher disk IO load? Are you sure that your application didn't change? New features/different usage? Maybe SQL execution plans have changed! Do you run update statistics regularly? You can have a look at the top sessions/tables querying sysmaster tables syssesprof (sessions) and sysptprof (tables) ordered by bufreads or pagreads. To have sysptprof filled TBLSPACE_STATS must be set in onconfig file.
