Could it be an encryption problem ? Maybe you have to turn 'send encrypted passwords' option off in the registry.... hth, Sunil |-----Original Message----- |From: Brian Gillespie [mailto:nospambriangil@bdsn.com] |Sent: Friday, May 26, 2000 7:31 PM |To: informix-list@iiug.org |Subject: Re: Login Problems | | | |----- Original Message ----- |From: "Bhaskarla, Sunil" <Sunil.Bhaskarla@Eclipsys.com> |Newsgroups: comp.databases.informix |Sent: Friday, May 26, 2000 2:18 PM |Subject: RE: Login Problems | | |: |: Run tcpipdump/snoop on the linux host and look at the dump. |The linux |: logins are authorized by PAM mod, if you have syslogd setup |correctly, it |: should write to /var/adm/messages. |: |I'll try this, thank you. | |: Do you have 660 perms on infmx ? |yes I do. | |: Can you connect using ilogin ?
