Hello, Is there anyway to tell what deskstop software a user is using when they access the Informix database server. I am not talking about the ODBC source but whether the user is running Brio, Metacube, MS-Query, etc.. I have checked the system processes and all the session tables in the sysmaster database with not luck. I am running IDS 7.31 FC4 on a HP-UX 11.0 machine. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks Keith A. Lewis The Timken Company lewis@timken.com (330) 471-4119 (330) 471-4034 (FAX)
No, the engine only knows the process id of the client application on the client box and Win98 cannot even report that so.... Art S.
