I am trying to call a 4GL program from inside a C program with the following code: sprintf(lineout, "$MINXPATH/om/newlic.sh %03d %s %s", db_num, so1sold, so1ship); system(lineout); The script called (newlic.sh) looks like this: --------------- if ( $#argv != 3) then echo "Incorrect number of parameters" exit 1 endif cd $MINXPATH/cadre4gl/lcamm fglgo newlic $argv[1] $argv[2] $argv[3] exit 0 --------------- --------------- The fglgo command is executed, but the screen becomes a jumble, like this: License Id [ ] CAD00000 ] Sold To Id [ License Type [ ] ACT License Status [ ] Network Type [02/03/1995] CAD00000e ]Ship To Id[ [ ]Software Exp Date [ 02/03/1995]Last Modify Date [ 0 rec_status [ ] --------------- Also, I find that ^C no longer cancels the process (although it's supposed to). Has anyone a clue as to why this is happening? Please e-mail and I'll summarize; our newsfeed in is running close to a week behind, and I hope to have an answer before then :-/ -- ========================================================================== Joe Hartley - jh@cadre.com - Cadre Technologies, Inc.
