Hardware for terrabyte db

My company markets a data warehouse for the retail industry, and we're proposing one system that will go to .7 to .8 TB in storage. We're looking for ideas regarding the hardware. This system builds aggregate & summary tables at load-time, so we're not looking at doing a lot of the "typical" DSS-type applications....not a lot of DSS queries....everything is pretty-highly indexed. We're using 7.XX OnLine (currently on 7.13). ' I'd like to compare notes with other large DW installations and see what types of systems work well for you with similar-sized warehouses. Not interested in hearing about RAID7 snake-oil, so Willett, please turn off your auto-responder/auto-poster/auto-spammer.
