Looking at my HP-UX 11.0 kernel, You could increase the number of maxfiles and maxfiles_lim, nfile, nflocks, ninodes, nproc, and even play with the max number of semaphores. However, here's a big caveat. Some of the values are calculated by a formula. So if you change it to a hardcoded value, you may lose that formula, and if you change another parameter your values will change. Now if you are working with RADAR, then you have C-ISAM embedded in the application, with either SE or Online as the repository that you load the data so you can drill down against it. (I think its SE in most cases. I don't recall SA or RMT pushing Online.) Is it RADAR? -Mikey Mikey (AT) Segel (Dott) C om. -- #include <std_disclaimer.h> /* Mike Segel (MS385) */ #include <No_Spam.h> #ifdef OFFENDED_BY_CONTENT The author takes no responsibility for this post.
