It may be that the kernel on the target machine is not configured to allow
enough shared memory and semaphores to permit the engine to start up.
Informix requires much more and larger shared memory segments than the
default kernel configuration permits. Duplicate the kernel settings on the
source server and build and boot a new kernel.
