Help with resetting user's password from SCO UNIX Server

Can someone help me? I am a systems admin and am supporting SunGuard Pentamation (Finance and Community Plus modules). The Pentamation server is running on SCO UNIX v.3.2 5.0.7 i386. I know that to reset a user's password, one has to change the user's password both at the OS level (using passwd command) and at the Pentamation Application's database level. With this in mind, which UNIX command would I use to change the user password at the Pentamation Application's database level? I also know that there is a UNIX command for Pentamation (on the server side) that pulls up a menu to make these changes for the user. Anyone with information to share with me to help me would be very greatly appreciated. Thank you in advance.
If it's an Informix database, you only have to worry about the OS password and the application password. Informix uses the OS for user validation. Art Art S.
