Log base continuous replication to DB2 on AS/400

Hi, I'm an purely AS/400 guy and I'm sorry for maybe stupid question. We urgently need to continuously replicate data from Informix 7.31 to the AS/400's DB2. Does somebody know any applications which can do that replication based on informix log files (journals in terms of DB2). Our Informix guys don't want to use trigger based replication because it can greatly reduce response times. Any ideas are appreciated Kosta Borozinets, Alfa-bank, Moscow Sent via Deja.com http://www.deja.com/ Before you buy.
There is a _very_ expensive package called 'PeerDirect' which will work across platforms and database engines. http://www.peerdirect.com The other possiblity is to create your own replication, very complex to do, I believe. Using Informix JDBC on the AS/400 - I haven't used AS/400, but I know there is a Java Runtime for it available from IBM. You could use JDBC to read from Informix. If you just want to have 'read-only' copies of your Informix data, the problem might not be as difficult.
